Cologne Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in Cologne. It is Germany’s most visited landmark and the towers for its two huge spires give the cathedral the largest façade of any church in the world. It’s huge and impressive.

Cologne’s Old Town has a distinctive historical charm. Visitors are drawn by its rustic narrow alleyways lined with traditional old houses.

Great St. Martin Church

With its magnificent crossing tower and triple-apse structure, Cologne’s Great St. Martin Church is a beautiful relic of the city’s ancient history. Stroll around the enormous Roman Catholic church and take in views of its ornate architecture.

Rheinpark

The Rheinpark is a large urban park along the right bank of the river Rhine. In summer, this green oasis is ideal for relaxation or various sporting activities.

Brauhaus Sion

The heart of Brauhaus Sion beats right in the middle of Cologne’s Old Town between the Cathedral and the Old Market Square. Brauhaus Sion counts as one of the most well-liked brewhouses in Germany. Cologne’s residents consider it to be one of the few truly authentic places left in the city. Highly recommend for a typical German experience.

Gilden Im Zims

Gilden Im Zims probably has the best pork knuckles in the city. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Fresh from the oven, savoury, seasoned and served with their Cologne sauce. There are plenty of roast potatoes or mashed potatoes, cabbage and braised onions served on the side. Hearty and delicious!
