Malacca or better known as ‘The Historic State’, is a historical city centre that needs no further introduction. Being one of the top tourist spot in Malaysia, this place have many interesting places to explore. From delicious food such as famous chicken rice ball to satay celup to unique cafes, this post will cover some of the best places that you should visit whenever you are in Malacca.

1. Chung Wah Chicken Rice Ball

Chicken rice ball is a must-have when in Malacca. Chung Wah topped the list of best chicken rice ball, with its flavourful rice balls and tender yet juicy chicken. The rice is more on the sticky side, and the chilli is amazingly spicy and appetizing. Due to its popularity, the price is on the high side and there will always be a long que regardless of day and time.

2. Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball

Hoe Kee’s chicken rice ball has garnered its popularity through its tender and delicious rice ball and chicken with a lighter soy sauce. Personally, i prefer this over Chung Wah due to its less sticky but still amazing rice balls, apart from the lower price and shorter que.
