Petaling Jaya
Frisson coffee bar is another cafe located at Uptown, your one stop place for cafe hopping sessions. It’s located along the same row with The Good Batch and Fat Spoon.
The decor design was very cute. Reminds me of those miniature Sullivan family toy set. HEH.
Double Sausage Delight (RM23.90 for lunch, RM25.90 for dinner)
Double Chicken sausage, sunny-side up egg with potatoes, carrots, chickpeas & capsicums. A cheerful looking dish, ready to make anyone happy with colourful bites.
Chunky Salmon Omelette (RM15.90 for lunch, RM19.90 for dinner)
Omelette stuffed with corns topped with pan-fried fresh salmon chunks. Omelette was cooked perfectly and it tasted really scrumptious. Never knew that corns and omelette could actually make a perfect combination. However, the salmon was not really fresh. I guess it could do without the salmon.
De’lish Aglio Olio. (RM15.90)
Served with sundered tomatoes, olives and mixed herbs. It tastes delectable as well as it wasn’t too oily and the portion was just right.
Norwegian Smoked Salmon stuffed croissant (RM16.90 for lunch, RM19.90 for dinner)
Corals, cheddar cheese, scrambled egg with tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, olives & fresh smoked salmon with capers wrapped in Frisson’s Croissant. Loving the combination of the vegetables and the scrambled eggs. Savoury croissant are the best 😀
Frisson’s Bruschetta is their main highlight (RM6 each)
Top right is Bruschetta Beef Bacon served with melted cheese, salad and beef bacon topped with yogurt and chicken floss.
Top right is Bruschetta Cheesy mushroom served with melted cheese, salad and mushrooms topped with yogurt.
Bottom is Bruschetta Fusion Chicken served with fresh coral salad, pineapple and 6-spiced chicken, topped with yogurt and tomatoes.
Loving the presentation of the bruschetta and the variety flavours of it. Honestly, it’s kinda overpriced as the portion is quite small. But their bruschettas are their ‘highlight’ and you should try few of it.
TripleB French Toast (RM18.90)
Thick slices of brioche dipped in rich vanilla custard scented with cinnamon. Served with peanut butter, banana and bacon drizzled with honey. One of their best sellers, and you are a fan of peanut butter, you shouldn’t miss this!
Salmon Fish Head Curry (RM30.90 for lunch, RM34.90 for dinner)
Fresh norwegian fish head with frission special curry with chinese cabbage, tofu brinjals and lady fingers. Comes with two servings of turmeric rice. Quite unique as they use Norwegian fish.
Aglio Olio Smoked Salmon (RM23.90 for lunch, RM27.90 for dineer)
Classic aglio olio with sundried tomatoes, olives, and chilli flakes topped with Norwegian Smoked Salmon. Love their aglio olio as it wasn’t too oily and the chilli flakes topped only added a hint of spiciness to it which enhances the entire dish pretty well.
Freshly made pancakes topped with nutella, fresh strawberries, dark chocolate sauce and mixed nuts.
Toppings went pretty amazing with the pancakes. Definitely always have room for desserts.
