Nagoya is the fourth largest city in Japan. One of the good reasons to spend a night here is its local delicacies. You should definitely not miss out hitsumabushi here as the “unagi don eating procedure” here is pretty unique.
Atsuta Horaiken
Definitely worth your time and money for this divine! The unagi is grilled to crispy exterior and soft tender interior. The smoke flavor is amazing! I would say this is the best one in my life! The best of the best!

Cafe Gentiane JR Nagoya Station
It’s a chick shaped sweet pudding made from Nagoya Cochin’s eggs. Soft, spongy and delectable. Definitely a nice little snack for tea time enjoyment.

Maruichi
A hidden gem for yakitori in Nagoya. This shop is mainly visited by locals. Must try out their limited edition skewer which is Maruichi Half Boiled Quail Eggs.

Yoshida Kishimen
Kishimen is the speciality in Nagoya and it’s a broad and flat noodle. Kishimen is like udon but it’s broader and flatter which gives it a chewy texture. If you’re wanna try something unique, you may try out their new curry kishimen.

Osu Shopping District
Osu Kannon is within the vicinity of Osu Shopping District. A wonderful combination of old shops that have been there for decades and new shops managed by young locals.
