Korean food is taking over the world and the Korean influence is going strong in Malaysia with the opening of multiple Korean joints in the recent years.  Omaya has launched its first outlet in Malaysia at Subang Jaya. One of the top reasons to dine in here is to get involved with loads and loads of cheese which sounds like heaven to me. From grilled meat to boiling hot stews, to kimchi and more, Korean food is almost impossible to not fall in love with. 

As you can see from the picture above, this place always brimming with people. Hence, reservations are highly recommended so as to avoid disappointment. 
Korean Cheese Fried Chicken (RM25)
Nicely coated with imported korean fried chicken batter powder and deep fried at high temperature. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. Coupling them with the melted cheese is indeed amazing!
Squid Cheese Topokki Hotpot (RM45)
Omaya uses freshly imported squids from Argentina which are then cooked fresh to order. It’s then coated with formulated batter and deep fried twice at a temperature of 160 and 180 degree Celsius which could ensure the perfect crunchy skin on the outer layer while keeping the squid tender as if it is still alive!

1200mm Korean Skewer (RM138)
15 layers of food, comprising of a variety of meat, fruits and vegetables. It’s time to indulge yourself in all these goodness with a various of charred fruits and vegetables at intervals in a new fashion way. Pairing these goodness up with the fruit vinegar provided can actually improve one’s digestive system. The highlighted feature of this skewer is the combination of protein and fibre which provides a well-balanced diet. Also, the charred pineapple is really delish as it contains the sweet and sour taste simultaneously which most ladies would love.
 
Lee Kwang Soo Cheese Dakgalbi Stir-Fried Chicken Chop Hotpot (RM68)
Boneless chicken thighs marinated with Korean spicy sauce for two days and then stir-fried with Korean rice cake, fish cake, cabbage, sweet potato and their special homemade sauce, made from 17 types of herbs and ingredients. Cheddar and mozzarella cheese are also served at the side compartment to compliment the taste of the chicken thighs.
 
Shimson Stew (RM84)
A meal for 2 to 3 pax, including army troop soup , fried rice and cheese spicy stir-fried topokki chicken. The broth is flavored with Korean secret topokki sauce and a variety of ingredients such as rice cake, hotdog, ham, luncheon meat, baked bean, sliced citrus and more! A unique and mildly spicy broth to compliment the Korean ramen. After finishing the Korean ramen, the waiters will deligently cook the fried rice on the hotpot right in front of your eyes! 
  Rainbow Shaved Ice (RM11.90)
If you’re a k-drama fan, you should know that it’s actually a drink inspired by a famous korean drama – “Who Are You”. A beautifully shaved ice made from various coloured syrup. This is not only refreshing but it also gives a great summer sensation as if you’re on a Hawaiian beach now! Sweetness overload!
Watermelon Soju Cocktail (RM36.90)
A gorgeous cocktail concoction of fresh watermelon juice and soju. So refreshing and delicious. A unique way to enjoy soju.
