Rasa-Rasa Ramadan Buffet @ The Oak Room, Nexus
Once again, it is the holiest month in the Muslim calendar and it starts today. If you are searching high and low for the best ramadan buffet meal to “buka puasa” with your family, look no further if as we have got you covered. This year, The Oak Room by Nexus will be launching its Rasa-Rasa Ramadan Buffet. The posh and luxurious dining hall, wide array of scrumptious food and beverages, excellent food quality, and warm hospitality will ensure you and your family have a splendid time.
The buffet section is massive and comprised of three main floors.
Starting from the top floor, you will be greeted by a huge selection of Malay cuisine – some of which are familiar and some are unique. Some of the main dishes include fragrant rice, beef, poultry, and fish.
Coming into the main dining hall, that is where the beverages, ice kacang, “salads”, appetizers, rojak, keropok and other snacks, sauces and condiments are placed.
Kindly note that the a buffet section similar to that at the highest floor with the rice and dishes are also located at the exterior right at the opposite end, this is to allow convenience diners to safe time by just having to walk a shorter distance to get all the main filling dishes rather than returning to the highest floor outside.
As you move along the buffet line, you will eventually come down to the second floor. Here, a wide array of traditional Malay kuihs, biscuits, cakes, desserts, assorted packaged ice cream and local fruits can be seen.
As you walk down the escalator to the main floor which is also the dining hall, you will see a selection of porridge, and noodles such as Laksa, Mihun Soup with assorted toppings.
On a side note, some of the dishes that I find extraordinarily palatable include:
Roasted Beef, Ikan Bakar (Ikan Pari), Grilled Prawns, Chicken Curry
Laksa, Satay, Rojak, Keropok, and Ice Kacang.
Kindly note that the ramadan buffet only take place on Monday – Friday,
and is not available on weekends. Advanced reservation is highly encouraged.
