Petaling Jaya
At Rimba & Rusa, you would feel like everyday is a Sunday. From the lovely decors and high ceiling to potted greens in every corner of the cafe, makes this a very unique and lovely place.
Bello Aglio Olio (RM28++)
Burnt garlic confit, dried chilies and cilantro tossed spaghetti noodles with well done seafood. The serving of prawns, squids and mussels was generous. Wasn’t too greasy with a great punch of flavours.
Spicy Seafood Linguine (RM34++)
Linguine cooked in spicy tomato sauce with fresh prawns, squids, mussels, garnished with cilantro leaves. Linguine pasta was cooked to al-dente. This turned out surprisingly good but spicy.
Laksa Rimba w/ Soft Shell Crab (RM36++)
A whole soft shell crab in a bowl of laksa, what more do you ask for? Soft shell crab was battered and fried to perfection. The laksa was equally delish too, with the right balance in flavour.
Spinach Stuffed Chicken (RM29++)
Chicken stuffed with fresh spinash and baked with a thick layer of cheese, alongside with fresh colourful vegetables. The chicken was baked just right which results in a juicy and tender texture.
Pulled Beef Mac & Cheese (RM22++)
Macaroni and pulled beef baked with plentiful of cheese on top. I find this dish to be less than mediocre.
Kacang Phool Jiddah (RM18++)
A beautiful sunny side up atop the fava beans, spices, onions, chillies, lime, and olive oil, paired with toasts. A unique dish which i find it amusing.
Foxy Red Velvet Cake (RM15++)
Sweet decadent treat. Cake was moist and the icing was delicious. Indeed, it’s one of the best-seller in Wondermilk!
