Roast Beef Ono Akihabara
This is quite a small establishment but the meals are more than satisfactory. The meat itself was juicy and flavorful. The meat was cooked but it was very rare to medium rare. The rice underneath had absorbed the meat juices and made it even better. The soup is really good too!

Tonkatsu Maisen Aoyama Honten
It comes with vegetables and all the sauces you need. Not only do they offer the various grades of pork, but they also cook it to perfection. The crust was a stand out, being a snowy yet crispy exterior to an extremely tender piece of pork.

Kisoji Shinjuku
I would say this is the best Sukiyaki in Tokyo! This particular Kisoji has great ambience and a warm welcoming decor for your dining experience. The meat tasted excellent and the veggies were fresh. Their matzusaka beef sukiyaki is to die for!

Tsukiji Outer Market
The Tsukiji Outer Market has replaced the old fish market. I’ve not been to the old one, but as far as I heard, it was more exciting and authentic. However, it’s interesting to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.
A very bustling area with lots of street food to eat! It’s quite touristy but it’s still worth going to.
You’ll be spoilt for choice on king crabs and varieties of lobsters.

There are many premium variants of strawberries in Japan such as white strawberries.
They may not know look ripe, but they are actually sweeter and juicier than its traditional red counterparts.
In Japan, melon is called as the king of fruits.

Despite being in hustling market, the place was very organized and comfortable.

Oborodzuki
One of the best tsukumen in Ginza. However, this small and authentic tsukumen restaurant is never meant for large crowds as it has only seven seats. BFYI: Once you finish your noodles you can hand them your sauce bowl and they’ll turn your remaining sauce into soup.

Coco Ichibanya
Despite being a chain restaurant, they do seem to take more care in cooking. You can cater the spice level to your personal taste.

Udon Shin
Udon was thick, springy and freshly made in the shop. The seats are very limited and the shop can only occupy around 12 customers.

Ichiran Ramen
The broth is rich and the noodles are firm to bite. It is also well known for its isolated dining area for one to enjoy one’s own private ramen-slurping experience.
Zakuzaku
One of my favorite place for a quick bite. Cold creamy cream in a crispy cookie crust! It’s not too sweet and this is absolutely a must-try when you’re at Harajuku!

Harajuku Gyoza Lou
The menu was basic and very straight forward. You could see the dumpling cooked fresh on the on the grill. The dumplings were light and tasty.

Luke’s Lobster
Look at the filling. Big chunks of lobster claw meat! I love how it is not overwhelmed with sauce so you can taste the freshness and sweetness of the lobster.

Strawberrymania Harajuku
This shop is specialized in strawberry desserts. The ice cream is filled into the cone right down to the bottom. The strawberry on top of the ice cream was really fresh and sweet!

If you want a slice of local life, this is a great bar for you if you’re craving for yakitori. Love the chicken wings here!

Pablo Mini
Love the strong cheese flavor and having one of them won’t make it too intense. The pastry was buttery and crispy. The filling was creamy and it had a nice balance between tangy and sweet.

Blue Bottle Coffee
This cafe provides a quiet pause for those on the go and a gathering spot for those who wish to linger. They serve cappuccino in ceramics made by Japanese artist Yumiko Lihoshi.

Starbucks Coffee Ginza Six
There are two floors, each with few seatings and and each with their own serving counter. The atmosphere was great with a bookstore next to it.

Atmos Heart
This all-new Shiroi Koibito Soft Cream store is located on the second floor of Atmos Heart – a shoe store in Shibuya. It’s made using the white chocolate from Shiroi Koibito and Hokkaido Milk. It was really smooth, delicious and I highly recommend this!

Manneken Waffles
Named after a famous Belgian statue, Manneken brought fresh Belgian waffles to Japan in 1986. Most of these stores are near a JR Station, so you could easily stop by and pick one up on your way around Japan.
Shinjuku is one of the must-visit areas in Tokyo. It’s well known for being the biggest red light district in Tokyo.
Ginza is also a place to shop but it is the most expensive area in Tokyo. It’s known as Tokyo’s most high end shopping district.
Tokyo Plaza Ginza
Luxury gem in the center of Ginza. There is a lounge and rooftop opening for public use. Having your drinks here while looking at people crossing the street from high above is fabulous.

The best place to shop till you drop. You can buy almost everything here. Most of the goods here are cheap and it’s tax-free if you’re a foreigner.

Tokyo Tower is a major historic landmark in Japan. The top of the tower provides really great views of Tokyo and a glimpse of how vast Tokyo really is. Be sure to snap some photos while you’re up there!

Owl Village in Harajuku
Tons of cute owls of different breeds and all with unique personalities in a warm and cozy cafe. The caregiver was absolutely friendly and welcoming. You get to take pictures with the owls and have them to stand on your arm. It was fun feeding the owls too!

Ueno Park
This park is a great place to run or to see a little bit of nature. The location is very central, with good transit to other parts of Tokyo. I would say it’s a very beautiful park especially during he cherry blossom season.
